Allen: The way we react is crucial

Feeling the natural strain of no win in six games Brentford boss Martin Allen refused to let the walls crumble in on his clubs season after seeing them draw again at the hands of a team they were expected to roll over.

Crushed by a Peter Clarke equaliser, Brentford continue to stutter and Allen insists that he is feeling the supporters pain,

"Of course I understand, and it's the same for me and the players, the disappointment and frustration at not winning when we were so comfortable. It was big blow to concede a goal so late in the game which meant we drew again."

Intent on not letting the situation stop him and his Brentford side achieving a sucessful season he stated,

"But what do you do? Turn your back on it and walk away or get back and continue all the good work which has gone on."

He stated again his joy at the players performance,

"Yesterday the players put in a good performance, they gave everything and did not hide"

He reminded supporters of the difficult situations he and his team have faced during his tennure in charge at griffin park and told the supporters not to let the current troubles get to them,

"Each time we've been written off, we've managed to come back and turn it around."
