First of all Allen once more congratulated Sam Sodje,
"It is tremendous news for both the club and Sam. He recieved his first full cap for Nigeria yesterday and this has come not before time"
Unfortunately the boss reported that Sam had picked up an injury,
"He's rated as 50/50 for saturday's game, Lloyd also has a knock and is struggling to make the game. They were both outstanding last week and I hope they are both fir and available."
Allen then reported on some younger members of the squad,
"John Mousinho and Clark Masters will both this Saturday play for Slough Town to help those boys in development"
The final piece of news which Allen had to send to the fans was a positive and concerning long term injury casualty Oli Skulason,
"Oli began straight line running today at the training ground"
"When the had finished training they went over together to give him a big round of applause as it is a significant step in his rehibilitation"
Allen did warn however,
"It is too soon to put a date on his comeback"
