The first and 'original' Scott Fitzgerald to become part of the ' Brentford Bunch'. A tough central defender 'Scott B. Fitzgerald' as he has become known joined the Bees in the summer of 2004, within the last couple of weeks he has also been named the youth team coach for next season, at 33 years young, Scott has decided to use his experience in football to help the youth players at Brentford make the grade and become a club favourite as he has done during his time with us. The former Wimbledon, Sheffield United, Millwall and Colchester player has won several U-21 caps for Ireland at the beginning of his career.

For the arial threat he posesses at 6'0 he has only ever scored 2 goals in his career of over 300 games.
