Fanzone Preview Part Two

Barnsley - Surely must be hoping for a better season than their last one. They have had Premiership experience but have crumbled like other clubs have. Must be hoping for the play-offs at least.

Blackpool - Dark Horses. A relatively inexperienced manager which could be their downfall. With John Murphy up front goals will come but they need to improve. Mid Table is probably what they are hoping for at the very least.

Bournemouth - After missing out on the Play-Offs Bournemouth have lost their two best players and have only made one summer signing so far but that could be about to change. After the squad is rebuilt then they should be able to challenge for the play-offs.

Bradford - With this being their 2nd year now in League One Bradford will look to improve on their mid-table placing but last season they were nearly going bust. Possibility of the play-offs but still work to do.

Brentford - After missing out via the play-offs Martin Allen has brought some new faces and one old hero back to Griffin Park. With Owusu home he could start banging them in again. With the signings I can see no reason why the Bees cant challenge for the title.

Bristol City - 3 seasons of missing out. They have signed several players, one of which has done well in the Premiership, but their defence is frail. With the loss of Lita their could be some problems but I believe they wont challenge until they get rid of Tinnion.

Chesterfield - With some strong players at the club they will look to improve on where they have finished before. A dark horse for the play-offs it could possibly be.

Colchester - With the loss of Fagan to Hull last season they could struggle. With Greg Halford at the back being their best player and a very good one at that they could see him moving on to pastures new at some point.

Doncaster - After a decent first season in the League Doncaster need to push up to try and get into the Championship. The signing of Heffernan for a club record fee should help. Another outsider in the promotion chase.

Gillingham - After being relegated on the last day of the season Gillingham have some re-building to do. Only when that is complete then can they make a charge for the play-offs and get back up.

Hartlepool - So Unlucky last year. But with striker James Brown out for six months could face a striker problem with most of the reliance last season on Adam Boyd.

Huddersfield - Finished the strongest of all the League One Teams last season and will want to try and make the play-offs at least. With Pawel Abbott scoring left, right and centre last season he is a threat. If he does it again this year they could go far.

Milton Keynes Dons - After their final day heroics last season like us the season before I reckon that they could be outsiders for the play-offs and could prove a few suprises along the way. With Danny Wilson in charge he could get them back up.

Nottm Forest - Last season being a season to forget for Forest is a massive understatement. It was a season to scratch from the record all together. They have lost Dawson and Reid but with Commons wanting to stay will be a threat.

Oldham - After another season of mid-table obscurity for the Latics, Oldham will look to be on the up. The challenge of getting promotion for them will be difficult and they will struggle without Vernon.

Port Vale - Many peoples tip for the drop. However they are a tidy outfit and will prove a handful. With people tipping them for the drop shows that the League is tight.

Rotherham - After an even worse season than Forest they could be in the beginning of a slump but with a new manager they probably will avoid relegation but by how much.

S****horpe - After last seasons struggle with Yeovil at the top of League Two they will look to stay in the League first and push up the League as well. Whether they can is another matter.

Southend - League Two Play-Off Winners. Can they survive? Many Play-Off winners tend to get relegated straight away. It all depends on Eastwood's goals.

Swansea - Another Promoted Side and with a new stadium to boot. It should be an interesting season for the Swans and could stun a few people.

Swindon - After losing most of their decent players Swindon could be in danger of relegation. The loss of Parkin is a blow and lets see if they can recover.

Tranmere - After last seasons penalty heartbreak against Hartlepool Tranmere have kept most of the team together and go one better. With Ryan Taylor leaving they could need some reassureance at the back.

Walsall - Merson says 'Judge me on this season'. With Joachim not going there could mean a problem as he was destroying defences at the end of last season. Thankfully Paul McShane was not wanted there.

Yeovil - After winning League Two by a fraction Yeovil could be challenging and have drawn comparisions with Wimbledon. Interesting to see how they work out but with Jevons, Gall and Caceres in the team they should do well.

As for League winners and for relegation I have no idea. One thing which I know for a fact is that it will be close, very close.
