Brentford manager Scott Fiztgerald took his first forray into the transfer market this afternoon as he agreed a deal with Bristol City to sign Welsh defender David Partridge.
Fiztgerald confirmed that the deal is initially a loan which will run from January 4th to February 4th.
With injury problems still rampant in the Brentford squad Partridge, 28, becomes the bees first signing the crucial transfer window period.
He joined loanees Bristol in the Summer of 2005 but was a trainee at West Ham before joining Motherwell, Leyton Orient and the MK Dons where he has amassed over 200 appearences.
