After coming so close to claiming a second victory in three weeks, Brentford manager Scott Fitzgerald once more told fans that he was delighted with the performance of his side against Bournmouth despite being on the back of defeat again.
With three new signings so far in the transfer window, Fitzgerald said yesterday that he was still looking to make additions in the striking department but said that he was throughly satisfied with the performance levels of the players he has already brought in,
"I thought the new signings were outstanding."
On Michael Leary he said,
"If theres a blade of grass he didnt touch I'll be suprised. He must have made 100 tackles, on that performance alone he's a Brentford player."
He continued,
"I thought Joey Keith brought us balance on the left, he's got a lovely left foot and his set players were good. I think both he and David Partridge, who also had a good game, will prove to be good additions for us."
