Brentford put in a much improved performance on Tuesday nights defeat to Swansea gaining a decent point in a 0-0 draw at Griffin Park.

Despite defenses being on top, the home side put in an excellent performance and held the Cherries of Bournmouth to a draw and managed to keep their first clean sheet in five games.

The bees had the better of the opening exchanges and despite losing their unbeaten record against Swansea they came out with much confidence. Creating early chances they were unlucky to be level at the break, Bournmouth however constantly looked under control and soaked up much of what Brentford had to offer and in the end they appeared to be happy to bring back a point after a dramatic week involving a change of management.

What the fans said?
Fans came away from Griffin Park in a mixed mood as Brentford gained a point from their third game in seven days,

"I thought we looked tired," said Gareth Cox,

"The passing wasn't there and we didn't seem to flow"

Gary Stevens a bees season ticket holder said,

"I was always knew that it was going to be a tough game"

"The guys passed the ball ok and it was good that we got a point"
