Brentford completed their their pre season friendly in four days with a win last night, as a similar team to the one which lost to Yeading beat Southern League Weymouth 1-0 in front of around 700 people.
The only and deciding goal came two minutes before half time, from Ryan Peters who fired home after a Jay Tabb shot rebounded from the bar. The striker was well placed to score his second goal of pre season.
In a game of limited chances the Bees were largely on top and could have doubled their lead 45 minutes later which a Charlie Ide shot was cleared inches from the line.
The Bees now head back towards Griffin Park to face Woking on Saturday.
