Brentford plays host to local tournament

Today not only saw the hottest day this year in London but the West of the city saw Brentford's home Griffin Park host a football tournament for local school children.

In conjunction with 'Brentford's Football in the Comminity' programme, kids from local borough schools varying in age came to the stadium today to take part in a 32 team tournament marking a potential annual event arranged by FitC.

The competition took place on the pitch at Griffin Park which was holding up well despite a long hard season for the senior Brentford side.
