Rosenior earlier this week indicated that he had been looking to seal up the deal of an 'experienced' central defender to replace departed Sam Sodje and Michael Turner. The Brentford boss who signed Adam Griffiths to fill the gap left by the clubs last two players of the year and today the club announced that they have agreed a deal with Matt Heywood of Bristol City.
The 6'3' defender has played over 250 games for Bristol, Swindon and Burnley. Rosenior admitted that the deal was on a temporary basis and that if his new player performs he will be looking to increase the length of the deal agreed.
