Brentford will be without goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, who returns to parent club Arsenal after picking up an ankle injury.
Pim Balkestein (groin) is out, while Karleigh Osborne (dead leg) and Marcus Bean (hamstring) are both major doubts.
Bristol Rovers manager Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol:
"There are so many reasons for us to want to finish strongly. Previous years have shown that when we finish strongly we start strongly the next year.
Trollope targets strong finish
"We want to finish with as high a points total as we can, in as high a position as we can.
"The form they're [Brentford] in at the moment means it's going to be a cracking game for us and we obviously want to bounce back from Tuesday's result and get back to winning ways."
