Brentford boss Terry Butcher has decided against offering contracts to trialists Kieron Murtagh and Jason Karaca.
The pair had spent part of the pre-season period with the Bees, but Butcher does not believe they will improve his squad.
He told the
"I will still be looking at one or two others, though, and I could make more signings in the next two weeks."
