Brentford boss Wally Downes has accepted a new contract with the Nationwide Division Two side.
The former Wimbledon star has guided the Bees into a comfortable mid-table spot in his first season in charge at Griffin Park, despite the behind-the-scenes problems at the club.
Downes also guided the West London club to the fourth round of the FA Cup for the first time in seven years and the southern area semi-finals of the LDV Vans Trophy.
"We are delighted Wally has accepted a new contract," Bees chairman Eddie Rogers told the club's official website.
"The board feel he has made excellent progress with a young squad of players this season, and can take us into the next one with confidence."
