Kid for a quid! - Summer madness at Brentford

Kids will be allowed in for a £1 against Reading & Portsmouth
Children under-16 will be allowed entrance into Griffin Park for just £1 to see Brentford's home pre-season friendlies against FA Barclaycard Premiership club, Portsmouth and Nationwide First Division Reading, after the club released details of their admission prices for the two fixtures.

Adults and concessions also benefit with prices being held at £10 for adults and £5 for OAP/Students.

Meanwhile, the club has confirmed that free movement is anticipated between the Brook and Braemer Road stands, whilst visiting supporters will be housed in the New Road stand. The Ealing road terrace and Braemer Road A block will not be open for either fixture.

A reminder that Reading provide our first opposition of the 2003/04 campaign on Tuesday 15th July, when they make their first return to Griffin Park since Jamie Cureton's late equaliser denied the Bees automatic promotion 14 months ago.

The clash against Harry Redknapp's newly promoted Portsmouth takes place on Tuesday 5th August, four days before our first league encounter at Tranmere Rovers.

Both games kick-off at 7.45pm.

So why not take the opportunity to come along and be part of the team, cheering the Bees into the 2003/04 season.

AT THESE PRICES CAN YOU AFFORD NOT TOO!

Brentford are to be applauded in reducing admission prices, especially if it encourages more children to discover their local club and one hopes the club are rewarded with terrific crowds for both matches. Editor
