With Brentford having to wait 24 hours later than everyone else to play their League One fixture, they saw those around them fail to take advantage.

Rotherham, Chesterfield and Cheltenham were all beaten giving the bees hope of re-igniting their survival hopes in the 2pm kick off at Griffin Park.

The game should see a return to action for Jo Kuffour, the clubs top scorer who is now available following suspension and a club spokesman said,

"It will be a huge boost having Jo back. He's the top scorer and the side need goals right now."

He is likelyto start up top along side Neil Shipperley who has yet to score for the bees but with Lloyd Owusu coming back into contention, the bees have it in their own hands.

Captain Kevin O'Connor spoke this week about his side's chances saying,

"We've got good players in our squad, we just need to start performing together.

"We've got eight games left and have to win as many as possible."
