Myles Weston will be handed a late fitness test ahead of Brentford's home game against Walsall. The winger missed Tuesday night's Carling Cup win over Cheltenham after suffering a groin injury at Carlisle, but he hopes to return at the weekend. Striker Carl Cort is still sidelined with an Achilles injury with boss Andy Scott not expecting him back for at least another week. On-loan Huddersfield forward Robbie Simpson scored on his full debut against the Robins and is in line to keep his place. Summer signings Michael Spillane and David McCracken, who were hauled off at half-time during the opening-day defeat at Carlisle, were unused substitutes in midweek and could find themselves back on the bench again.
