Speaking to the press this morning, Martin Allen seemd to be in a very cheery mood. After the weekends victory the boss was no doubt pleased with the commitment and the effort of the players during the game however he warned,
"We must now prepare for Wednesday's game with a single minded desire to put the first game behind us and to improve"
After watching the video of the game Allen still believes his side have cause for concern as he pointed out himself he has played The Spirites three times and never managed a win.
The manager was pleased to announce no injuries after Saturday's game and non futher at training this morning.
He also noted briefly that the players on trial during the summer have been made aware that no contracts are available at the current time. These players include Mesinho and Kiki who both started two friendlies. However the manager did say that one player, believed to be Mesinho did impress him enough to continue training with the club with a view to taking him in the winter or next summer depending on his development.
