Martin Allen was as
usual decididly upbeat despite yesterday's defeat to Yorkshire rivals Huddesersfield when speaking to the press today.
The Brentford boss refused to criticise his players after two consecutive defeats which could potentially kill of Brentford play off challenge.
Allen said,
"We threw everything including the kitchen sink at them, but we never really managed to create many chances. There was plenty of effort and you can't fault them at all.
"The stoppages didn't help because it meant there was no tempo to the game, but when you are where we are in the league these things are going to happen and the players will learn how to cope with it."
