Newman raring to go

In a fairly quiet week for the Bees, Martin Allen has been handed a boost ahead of next week's match against Bristol City as Midfielder and club captain Ricky Newman should be ready to make his debut on the 24th September and may be included in this weekend's squad for the away game against Huddersfield.

The 35 year old free transder signing from Reading is yet to make an appearance for this new League One club but is expected to be in training by Friday or at the latest next Monday,

"Ricky has started jogging again but so far there has been no reaction from his injury"

"Fingers crossed he should be in full training next week"
