Congratulations to Paul Smith, who with a massive 45.2% of the vote has captured the Bee Hive Player of the year award.
The affable 23-year-old, who has been a virtual ever present since replacing the unfortunate Icelandic custodian, Oli Gottskarlksson in January 2002, appeared in 52 of Brentford's 56 competitive first team fixtures during the 2002/03 campaign, keeping a total of 15 clean sheets in the process.
Indeed on many other ocassions, especially away from home, the reliable 6ft 3 in, stopper kept Brentford in games they would have otherwide have lost heavily.
In second place and completing a fantastic first season at Griffin Park, was Under 21 Senegal defender, Ibrahima Sonko, who polled 16.1% of the vote.
In third place was dependable captain, Michael Dobson.
