Having some stability in the club seemed to be on the players mind and confidence seemed to be boosted following the appointment of a permenant manager.
Club captain Stuart Nelson said,
"All the boys have noticed the difference since Scott took over and while the results may not make good reading, the performances have gradually improved."
"If things keep going the same way the results will surely come and help us get out of the position we are currently in. Things don't come over night but he's been instrumental in the improvement shown recently."
Kevin O'Connor added,
"As Nelse has said all the players were really happy with the appointment and it's no coincidence that the improved performances have come about under Fitz. This appointment has given us the oppertunity to look forward to the New Year with confidence."
