Although it is the close season, there are still plenty of goodies taking place on the Bee Hive during the coming months for you to enjoy, before Brentford return to competitive action on Tuesday 15th July 2003, with their first pre-season friendly, a mouth watering home clash against Nationwide First Division club, Reading.
The Bee Hive will be updated on a daily basis throughout the summer and apart from the latest new stories emanating from Griffin Park, the site will also include exciting new features such as the monthly Bee Hive Quiz (A new quiz will be out on June 1) and the Rumour Mill, where we will investigate the validity of some of the stories surrounding our great club.
There will also be a new section called Transfer Activity, where there will be an easy to follow guide on all of the transfer happenings over the close season.
With Martin Rowlands having already been released, by manager Wally Downes, the futures of Ibrahima Sonko, Rowan Vine and many others remain uncertain. You catch all the latest news by clicking here.
The Voting polls will also be active throughout the summer and future polls to look out for include:
Best Brentford manager in the last 25 years?
Best Brentford goalkeeper over the same period?
How do you rate Wally Downes achievements in his first season in charge?
How do you think the Bees will fare next season?
The new fixture list for the 2003/04 season will be published at 1000am on Thursday 19th June 2003 and will appear here on the Bee Hive soon after, so why not make a date in your diary to log in here later that morning to be first with the news on where and when the Bees will be playing.
A reminder that the 2003/04 Nationwide Second Division season starts on, Saturday 9th August 2003.
The above is just a summary of the many good things happening, so remember to log onto The Bee Hive every day for all the latest news, views and reports.
