After playing for Brentford against Bristol City this weekend, Alex Rhodes showed manager Leroy Rosenior exactly what he could do.
Just returning to fitness the youngster today signed on a months loan with Swindon Town of League Two to begin gaining some more first team experience.
Under the management of Dennis Wise the club have been in great form claiming fourth place in the table and for Rhodes it is a chance not only to get some vital first team experience, but also to start playing regularily in the Football League.
The midfielder has been on the bees books for almost three years and despite stuttering through his Brentford tenure with injury and poor form, it is hoped that Rhodes can recapture his best in this sort period of time.
Rosenior said,
"We've allowed Alex to leave for a while to gain some more experience. Hopefully this will allow him to play regularily and he can pick up the confidence boost related to playing more often."
