Brentford have revealed that young attacking midfielder, Jay Tabb is to stay at Griffin Park for another season.
The 19-year-old originally signed a two-year contract in the summer of 2001 but contained within the deal was a club option for a further year, which has been taken up.
The diminutive Tabb has had an injury prone last twelve months, which restricted him to just one first team start and four substitute appearances during the 2002/03 campaign.
However, manager Wally Downes has obviously been impressed and will now be hoping that Tabb's injuries are behind him, so he can blossom and cement a place in the Bees' first team squad next season.
