What exactly is going on at Brentford?

Reports last noght which stated that Martin Allen had resigned as Brentford manager, appear to be false this morning as the club issued a short statement saying that there had been no decision made on Allen's future.

It appears now that Allen's future at Brentford is unclear as the club stated,

"Futher to mounting speculation in the media, Brentford Football Club wish to emphasise that Martin Allen is under contract with them for a futher twelve months"
