John Swift scores twice as Brentford end three-game losing streakBrentford ended a three-game losing streak with a comfortable 3-0 win over Wolves to climb above Kenny Jackett's side in the Sky Bet Championship.A brace from Chelsea loanee John Swift either side of Sergi Canos' 55th-minute strike clinched the points for the Bees, who recorded their first win at Griffin Park since before Christmas.Wolves, now without a win in seven, had the better of the early exchanges but failed to make their early advantage count and looked woefully short on confidence by the end of an ultimately one-sided affair.Bjorn Sigurdarson should have done better with a glancing header but could only find the hands of Bees goalkeeper David Button from six yards.Former Brentford loanee Nathan Byrne's low drive from the edge of the box suffered a similar fate moments later to the relief of the exposed Button. But the Bees grew in stature as the half wore on and moved the visitors around with some slick passing on the edge of the Wolves box.Alan Judge ran at the Wolves defence from half way and fired in a dipping low drive which bounced to safety off the left-hand upright.Swift and Canos looked lively throughout and the former stung the fingertips of Carl Ikeme from 20 yards midway through the half.Marco Djuricin headed skipper Jake Bidwell's left-wing cross over the angle when well placed just before the half-hour mark. The skipper was furious just before the break when he was hauled to the ground by Wanderers defender Danny Batth, referee Charles Breakspear waving away his penalty protests.Djuricin wasted a gilt-edged chance to give the Londoners the lead just before the break as he skied Canos' precision right-wing cross over from 12 yards. The breakthrough came after 43 minutes when Judge exchanged passes with Swift on the edge of the box.Judge was sent flying inside the area but the referee played a good advantage and Swift ran on to bundle the ball home after his first effort was blocked by a combination of keeper and defender.Kevin McDonald tested Button six minutes after the break with a grass-cutter from the edge of the box in a rare effort on goal for the visitors. But Brentford stretched their lead in the 55th minute with a superb four-pass flowing move from back to front, finished with aplomb by Liverpool loanee Canos.Harlee Dean found Bidwell on the left and his deep first-time cross was controlled by Judge who played in Canos to rifle home from the angle. The Spaniard turned provider after 66 minutes when he ran at Kortney Hause and squared from the byline for Swift to side-foot home from close range.By now the visiting fans were ironically applauding any passes their side made as they looked devoid of attacking intent.Brentford almost rubbed salt into the wounds but Bidwell's injury-time effort was palmed wide by Ikeme, who also reacted smartly to tip Jack O'Connell's back post header to safety on the whistle
